The Challenge
Greensleeves Care needed a modern access control solution at Mount Ephraim House to improve resident safety while making day-to-day security easier for staff to manage.
The system needed to secure internal stair gates, allow access codes to be managed remotely, alert staff when gates were left open and integrate with existing life safety systems.
Our Solution
Spectrum installed a cloud-based access control system across more than 30 doors, giving authorised staff and head office secure remote access through a central management portal.
The system provides real-time door status alerts and remote management of access codes, while integrating with the site’s existing intercom and fire alarm systems.
Installation was carefully managed to minimise disruption to residents and staff.
The Results
The new system has improved resident safety while giving Greensleeves greater control and visibility over site security. Remote management has also reduced on-site administration and created a scalable solution for future requirements.
Spectrum continues to provide planned preventative maintenance and ongoing support across the access control, CCTV and intercom systems.
